BREAKING NEWS – The Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell spoke at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Kentucky a few hours ago and opened the doors to a second stimulus check, a reversal from his past position.
Dr. Nitin Chhoda reviewed the entire talk and explored THREE big takeaways in this video.
Some of the comments from the Senate majority leader:
“Since we’re not going to shut down the economy again………”
“We don’t have enough money we can borrow to continue to prop up the economy indefinitely, we have to work smart”
“I am pretty sure there will be a new rescue package”
“(We must have) liability protection for businesses, hospitals, doctors, nurses, colleges, universities, K through 12, we cannot get back to normal if we have an epidemic of lawsuits on the heals of the pandemic”
When asked about a second stimulus check he said “could well be” a part of the next economic relief package.
